Hair Experiment: Roller Set and Silk Wrap

For the past few months I have been thinking about roller setting my hair, but I haven't really had the time. Well, now I have the time! :) So I am going to attempt it. When my hair was relaxed I tried roller sets all the time and they came out pretty ok. But I am armed with a lot more knowledge now...

I am going to follow this tutorial. I know it says for relaxed hair, but I am pretty sure the same principles apply for natural hair too.

The things I am going to do different:
-use a heat protectant instead of a serum. Astro Fashionista's blog gave me the idea for the heat protectant!
-I may or may not use mesh end papers...they are supposed to help your ends come out a little smoother! :)
-Attempt a silk wrap. Silk wrapping, for those who don't know, is basically wrapping the hair with saran wrap/plastic wrap after adding a small amount of leave in. Then you sit under a dryer for about 20 mins and after that is done you take the wrap off and the results are smooth silky hair!

I am also going to use my soft bonnet hair dryer instead of my hard bonnet because, frankly, when I was relaxed, my hair took forever to dry under that thing anyway! I will post the results as soon as I can!

Hope everyone is awesome!
J.
